NEVER SHOULD A DOG OR ANY ANIMAL SUFFER LIKE THIS. EVER!
Thoughts Of A Stray…
Another morning…I stretch my tired body. It was cold and rainy last night. But at least that pine tree gave me a little protection. Still nothing to eat. Let me try a little grass. So many puddles after the rain. I wish the water weren’t so muddy. I wish I had a bowl again, like I did back home. It seems so long ago. I wonder why they threw me out? I must find some food. Hope that man doesn’t chase me away from the dumpster again.
Why does he care if I take what he throws out? I’ll walk a little further today. Maybe I can find a quieter place to rest tonight. It’s so noisy by the roadside. Oh, here comes someone walking their dog! Maybe they’ll let me follow. NO!!! They’re crossing the sreet! Wait for me! Wait for me! It’s early yet, but I’m so tired. I think I’ll try to sleep. So tired. So hungry. So lonely.
“Hey, mom, under that tree! Looks like a dog!,” the little boy said. ” Honey, it looks like this one didn’t make it,” the mother said. “poor guy, he couldn’t have been more than six months old.” -

I’m in shock and completely sickened by this! Hearing people laughing in the background of the video only makes it worse!!!!

How could anyone do this??????

Thanks to the tireless work of countless dedicated animal activists, conducting any kind of animal fighting is now a federal offense. This is a great milestone for animal advocacy; however, animal fights still occur and there are people who are still willing to attend them. That’s why we need comprehensive legislation that would also punish those who attend animal fighting events.
The Animal Fighting Spectator Prohibition Act of 2011 (H.R. 2492) would make illegal the attendance of any animal fighting event. We need this legislation so that both facilitators and attendees of animal fights are punished. There is no point to making animal fighting illegal if we aren’t also going to eliminate the demand for it.

Puppy farming is sooo very cruel. Recently my brother adopted a female boxer dog, named Tia, who’s 2/3years old and was rescued (thankfully) from a puppy farm.

Tia, along with 120 other Boxers, were rescued from a puppy farm in Devon. Due to the amount rescued they all had to be…

Dog fighting for his life after owner amputates leg to avoid vet fees
A couple has been charged with animal cruelty after carrying out a DIY amputation on their pet dog after he was hit by a car.
Alberto Castaneda, 51, and Maria Banuelos, 59, were busted after animal control officers found their one-year-old black lab mix in terrible condition.
The dog had part of his left hind leg cut off as Castaneda is believed to have tried to avoid having to pay expensive veterinarian fees.
The dog had not been treated with any drugs and is not thought to have been given any anaesthetic during the cruel operation.

Vets were able to save the dog, who’s named Onyx, but had to amputate most of his leg due to the earlier botched DIY operation.
Matthew Mass, the manager of Kern County Animal Control, said: ‘No animal, no person, and no living creature deserves to be abused in the manner that this animal was abused.’

“Every day over 1,000 dogs are inhumanely transported from Thailand to neighbouring countries where they are butchered by cruel and inhumane methods. However, the Soi Dog Foundation and the Thai government are actively working to end this inhumane practice.”

Soi Dog Foundation is always accepting donations to help the dogs recover, and secure their shelter.

Soi Dog Foundation (SDF) is a not-for-profit, legally registered charitable organization, which helps the homeless, neglected and abused dogs and cats of Thailand.

Soi Dog is made up of people like yourself, be they financial supporters, field or shelter volunteers, fundraisers etc. with a common goal of helping neglected and abused dogs & cats.”
